I feel that being a digital nomad in my 30s as well, brings up similar topics for discussion. I often have these thoughts in my head and somewhat wish to just meet someone who is also location independent :D
Yesss I’m holding onto hope that I’ll meet someone while traveling who has this lifestyle or values travel. I’d be okay “settling down” but still need to be doing trips and traveling often!
I just settled down in a little village close to Lisbon after almost 2 years of traveling full-time as a single mum and it feels like the best decision ever!! You can totally live this lifestyle with a kid but my mental health has improved so much since living here. I felt it so much when you said that you‘re constantly tired and girl settling down for a bit has changed the game for me 💛 I got so much more energy to pick up new hobbies, read a book etc if I don’t constantly have to worry about where to go next. Just pick a place where you like the vibe and experiment living there for a bit <3 Also I feel like Lisbon is the perfect mix of Berlin and the Mediterranean hehe
Omg LOVE HEARING FROM A TRAVELING MOM!!!! Lisbon is such a vibe - I almost moved there!! I’ll be there in October I think! I was in Cape Town for 6 months this year and loved it bc I had routine and hobbies etc but decided to do a euro tour for summer and already exhausted 😂I think next time I do a euro tour I’ll just pick a spot for the whole time or just do 2 cities, not an insane travel spree. Let’s link in Lisbon?!
